Castle of Duras
Château de Duras is a beautiful castle situated in the north-west of the Lot-et-Garonne. The castle was built in 1137 on a high rock. From the castle you have a beautiful view. Nowadays, the castle is open to the public and is one of the best places to visit. When you visit the castle, you can take a guided tour and learn all about the history of the castle and the region. Besides that, you can visit an interesting archaeological museum in the building, Musée le Duras, where many old objects like weapons are exhibited.
